Being a mother is most afraid of what?
The most feared thing is that when you are raising your own children, you cannot make your own decisions. For example, weaning your child will suddenly be urged by all kinds of people.
The doctor urged, the advertisement urged, the uncle and aunt who walked the baby urged, and the family members who did not know the truth also urged: [Ouch! Weaning quickly! ]
It is said that children are still breast-feeding after 6 months of age, and they always have a better worry than their mothers. And their reasons for weaning mothers also seem very [reasonable].
01 Use rumors to persuade me to wean? Hum! The breast is too small and produces less milk. Do you want to wean?
I’m afraid this is something that can only be said by people who don’t know exactly where the milk is produced.
Some mothers said that when they took their children for physical examination, the doctor saw that her chest was small and could not see milk, and ordered that milk powder must be added.
Hearing that the doctor advised her mother to wean for this reason, Clove’s mother could only [ha ha ha ha ha].
In fact, [milk is not big].
The size of the chest depends on the amount of fat in it, while the amount of milk is related to the secretion of breast tissue. Therefore, the amount of milk has nothing to do with the size and size of the chest.
Among the users of clove mother, inspirational stories of “airport becoming cow” abound.
Those who say that their breasts are small and have no milk to wean can only be evaluated by [not knowing but talking blindly].
Less milk, worry about the baby does not have enough to eat, want to wean?
Please find out how much the baby can eat before speaking, OK?
When the milk was first opened, the mothers had very little milk. There were always some people who worried that their children would not have enough to eat, so they gave up breast milk and fed milk powder directly.
But in fact, the stomach volume of the newborn baby is very small:
At the first meal of birth, the amount of breast milk (5 mL ~ 7mL) the size of glass beads can fill the baby’s stomach.
After 5 ~ 7 days of birth, one table tennis-sized breast milk (about 30 mL) can be drunk almost every meal.
Born 7 days to 1 month old, you can drink one egg-sized breast milk (about 50 mL) per meal.
The mother’s milk volume will gradually increase with the increase of the baby’s appetite. At first, even if the mother has less milk, she can feed the baby.
However, if you give up breast milk at this time and feed the baby milk powder directly, the number of sucking will be reduced, and the mother’s milk may not be much.
Because the child is weaned when there is less milk, not only may the child really not be able to drink breast milk again, but also the unique intimate bond with the mother will be broken.
After 6 months, the milk is not nutritious and should be weaned?
It’s really an alarmist with little knowledge.
After 6 months, it is not the mother’s milk that has less nutrition, but the baby’s demand has increased. Breast milk itself will not change too much because there will be what after 6 months or 1 year old.
Some people may say that the relative nutrition is still less.
Those people forget the key point-the baby starts to add supplementary foods after 6 months, and the source of nutrition changes from single breast milk to multiple foods. Whether the nutrition is sufficient or not depends on the addition of supplementary foods.
The addition of supplementary foods is not timely and the collocation is unscientific, that is, the best milk powder is used to replace breast milk, and the nutrition of children is still insufficient.
The baby drinks milk [has a problem] and wants to be weaned?
There are so many [problems] that babies may have, why should breast milk be blamed?
Breast-fed mothers, as the only provider of food rations for their babies, are always the first to be criticized when their babies have what problems:
The baby has lost weight, gained weight, suffered from constipation, diarrhea, eczema and yellow hair. Some people do not look for the real reason for any abnormality, but they always blame their mother’s milk for going around.
These symptoms are common phenomena in the process of children’s growth and development, and cannot be solved by changing milk powder.
If breast milk is replaced by milk powder, the problem can be solved. Why do hospitals and doctors need it?
Adhering to breastfeeding, we can do two things.
When a mother chooses to insist on breast-feeding until her child is at least one year old, so many different social roles will jump out to hinder the matter and persuade the mother to wean for various reasons.
Mothers endure the exhaustion of milk day and night, the pain of chapped nipples and insist on breast-feeding, but they have to be slandered again and again by these rumors, and even have to give up their insistence on breast-feeding because of these absurd words.
According to a report by the Lancet magazine, in low-and middle-income countries in the world, the exclusive breastfeeding rate within 6 months is 37%, while in China it is only 20%.
The domestic breastfeeding environment is not optimistic.
When every mother chooses to insist on breast-feeding, she is always hindered by comments from all directions:
Some come from relatives and friends misled by wrong information.
Some of them come from milk powder manufacturers who put interests first. As long as you listen to rumors and cut off breast milk, they will make money.
Some even come from medical workers who know little about breast-feeding and pass the wrong information to more ordinary people.
It is really too difficult for mothers to insist on breast-feeding.
As mothers who insist on breast-feeding, we have two things to do.
One is to put these rumors of weaning behind us and continue to insist on breast-feeding. In the days when you can stick to it, try to postpone the weaning day by one day and postpone it by another day.
The second is to transfer the popular science knowledge of breast-feeding to more people:
Let everyone know that our persistence is only to give the best food in the world to our children.
Let those ordinary people misled by rumors see the truth of insisting on breast-feeding.
Let those medical workers who have not had time to update their popular science knowledge understand the real meaning of insisting on breast-feeding.
Since August last year, clove mothers have joined hands with Danone Nutricia Early Life Nutrition, a well-known infant nutrition company, to set up a year-long “New Love Breast Milk Encyclopedia” column.
On July 31 this year, the Chinese Nutrition Society, Danone Nutricia’s Early Life Nutrition and Clove Garden held a press conference to summarize the achievements of the column:
More than 10,000 mothers collected 18 column articles, benefited more than 1 million mothers, and shared more than 50,000 mothers with friends.
We broke the breast milk problem that mothers are concerned about one by one.

There are many difficulties in the road of breast-feeding, and the problems encountered may go far beyond these.
But it is also breast-feeding that makes the baby grow up healthily.
