Do not drink a lot of water, coffee, strong tea, etc. before inspection.

Collect the urine in the middle section. When collecting, leave the urine in the middle section, and do not collect the urine that has just started or is about to end urination. Of course, sometimes for the sake of diagnosis, the collection of the initial urine and the urine in the last section will be specially instructed.

The urine collected should be submitted for inspection within half an hour and not more than one hour at the latest.

Women should avoid menstruation and clean vulva before collection to prevent vaginal secretions from mixing in.
