A few years ago, a friend of mine’s son died suddenly at home. She asked me:
If I can do CPR, can he still be alive?
I don’t know how to say what is good.
A year ago when I was in the United States, I opened the cupboard door of the landlord’s house and could see a cardiopulmonary resuscitation map.
But now in China, the vast majority of people still lack the most basic first aid knowledge.
Living in this society with double pressure and changes in lifestyle, sudden death is happening more and more. If everyone can master the most basic first aid knowledge, many lives that should not have passed away can be saved.
So I decided to use the simplest pictures to tell my daughter what to do if one day.
In addition, some enthusiastic professionals mentioned cardiopulmonary resuscitation for infants and children, and I would like to add here:
If it is a baby, a child or a drowning person, breathing is generally stopped due to asphyxia, oxygen must be introduced twice before chest compressions are performed for 30 cycles.
In addition, children should not be subjected to chest compressions with both hands, but with one hand. If the strength is small, the sternum will be broken and inserted into the lungs if the strength of both hands is large. Infants should be subjected to chest compressions with both index finger and middle finger.
Remember the important points:
- Don’t panic, keep calm; Call for help as short and clear as possible; Try not to move unless the position is dangerous. If you have normal breathing and are just in a coma, do not do chest compressions. When doing chest compressions, clothes should be loose, arms should be straight, depth should be sufficient, and frequency should be fast. 30 chest compressions and 2 artificial respiration are one cycle.
No one can guarantee that he will have an accident. Similarly, he cannot guarantee that he will have an accident.
Therefore, please tell you and the people around you these basic first aid knowledge, perhaps you can save a person’s life next time.
