My children are 15 months old and still can’t stand! I can barely stand for a while with my hand, but my legs are still shaking. Is there a problem of what in development?
In the outpatient department of the Department of Child Care, Teacher Liu Ping received such a case.
Generally speaking, children can stand on their own in 12 months.
However, the baby’s sports development is seriously slow, not only standing, turning over and crawling, all major sports are several months later than other children.
How can a good baby be stunted? We asked Mr. Liu Ping to give us an analysis of the reasons.
Only after chatting with my parents did I know that my grandmother usually takes care of the children in the family, and the baby is extremely precious.
What the old man often talks about is-[it is healthier to be fat in vain], and his parents also believe it.
It doesn’t count to drink enough breast milk every day, and the food must be fed until the baby can’t eat it, and the fruit keeps flowing between meals.
Over time, children’s stomachs are getting bigger and bigger, and their weight is getting heavier and heavier. At the age of 15 months, they weigh 30 kg, which is about 10 kg heavier than children of the same age.
Excessive weight not only makes the child too lazy to move, but also places a burden on the child’s bones, seriously affecting his growth and development.
It is not a good thing that the baby is too fat.
Although it is no longer popular to regard fat as beauty, there are still not a few elders with this concept around them.
But in fact, obesity is really not a good thing for babies in what.
1. Macromotor retardation
In most cases, obesity will cause the baby to move clumsily, and the failure to keep up with the movement ability will lead to insufficient exercise of the child, making the baby obese and forming a vicious circle.
Excessive weight puts a lot of pressure on bones and joints and is easy to cause damage.
2. Easy precocious puberty leads to short stature,
The sex hormone level of fat babies is higher than that of ordinary children, which not only easily induces precocious puberty, but also accelerates ossification and fusion of epiphyses.
In short, if the body matures too early, the time for children to grow taller will become shorter, and the height will definitely be shorter than that of children of the same age.
3. Fat when you are a child, and have a higher chance of being fat when you grow up.
More than 70% of children who are fat when they are young are likely to be fat when they grow up, which makes it difficult to recover to their ideal weight. The probability of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases is also higher than that of normal people.
It is best to judge whether the child is fat or not.
Many parents are worried when they hear this. How can they judge whether they are fat or not?
You can use the following formula to make a rough judgment.
Standard weight measurement formula:
- Weight of 1 ~ 6 months (kg) = birth weight + month age × 0. 77 ~ 12 months weight (kg) = 6 + month age × 0. 251 ~ 6 years weight (kg) = age × 2 + 8
You can also choose to help your baby draw a growth curve to judge whether he is overweight.
Drawing the physical measurement values of the baby at different ages into graphs can more intuitively understand the development level of the child and find out whether the weight of the child deviates from the normal range in time.
Fat babies need to do this when they become healthy.
Compared with the above formula, many mothers thought that it was over. My baby was a well-established little fat man. What can I do?
It is not difficult to say how to deal with it.
Babies still drinking milk:
Step 1 Eat regularly
After 2 ~ 3 months of age, the baby will gradually establish his own eating habits. Every time nursing, parents can record the time and milk quantity to facilitate understanding the baby’s eating rules.
2. Don’t feed as soon as you cry, and don’t let feeding become a comfort.
Some parents always equate [children crying] with [children hungry].
The child is fed as soon as he cries, which virtually takes in a lot of unnecessary calories.
In fact, crying is the way the baby expresses his needs. Apart from hunger, the baby will cry when he is uncomfortable in his stomach, urinates, wants to hug, wakes up at night, etc.
Parents should not worry about nursing their children when they cry. They should carefully look for the cause of crying and then deal with it according to the symptoms.
Babies before adding supplementary foods, especially breast-fed babies, are all [milk fat] and need not worry too much.
Babies who have added supplementary foods:
STEP 1 Abstain from Night Milk
Drinking milk (especially milk powder) at night consumes less calories from eating, and the excess calories can be easily converted into fat for storage. It is difficult for Eva to think that she is not fat.
Feeding milk before falling asleep can ensure that the baby will not wake up at night because of hunger for 4-5 hours.
If the baby wakes up frequently at night, she can try to pat it more, or use pacifiers and pacifiers to appease her, so as to avoid drinking unnecessary milk at night.
2. Eat some coarse grains properly.
Coarse grains can control the rise of blood sugar in babies, and the dietary fiber contained therein can also increase satiety, reduce fat absorption and promote intestinal peristalsis. It is the best choice staple food for obese children.
However, for babies, miscellaneous grains and beans are not easy to digest and absorb, and it is best to eat no more than 1/3 of the staple food each time.
3. Eat regularly and control sugar intake
Many parents, in order to make their children drink more water, will use fruit juice, lactic acid bacteria drinks, mixed milk instead, or directly drink milk as water, feeling that it is nutritious and healthy.
There are also parents who will give their children no restriction on eating fruit snacks, which is also an extra source of calories for children.
Three meals are fixed, milk is fixed, fruits are appropriate, and the best drink is plain boiled water.
Step 4 Exercise moderately
Choosing sports of the right age and taking children outdoors for 1-2 hours every day can not only help obese children control their weight, but also free parents’ hands. Why not?
For some babies whose appetites are already relatively large, parents should not be impatient, but should gradually reduce the amount of food, give the babies a process of adaptation, and slowly reduce their appetites.
Meta-analysis shows that the rate of overweight or obesity among children in China increased from 1.8% to 13.1% in the 30 years from 1981 to 2010.
For children, it is really not that the fatter the better, blindly pursuing obesity in vain, but harming the children.
In fact, no matter fat or thin, the baby’s health is the most important thing.
I really can’t get any fatter!
