After reading a group of very thoughtful and frightening explanations, I dare not easily say [I feel blind]. However, after staring at the computer for a day, my eyes are really a little uncomfortable, dry, sour and itchy, and I can’t help rubbing them with my hands.
Is there any what way to relieve these discomforts? For example, look at green things? Would you like some pork liver and medlar to eat? Or simply leave your cell phone and computer to sleep?
These methods don’t work
1. Look at all kinds of green things
It is said that it is good for your eyes to change your mobile phone or computer desktop to green?
For example:
As long as you are still staring at your mobile phone or computer, it is useless to change to what color.
It is said that putting green pictures or plants on the table can help eyes catch their breath?
For example:
A little dizzy…
As long as you still stare at the nearby area for a long time, it doesn’t work to be surrounded by green.
Step 2 Turn your eyeballs
Follow my left eye and right eye in a slow motion! Right eye left eye slow motion replay!
I’m really a little worried that I will turn into [cross-eyed]… … …
If your eyes are still not away from the computer, mobile phone or staring at the close range when doing this action with your own beat, it is useless to make many turns.
The key is not to turn an eye, but to let the eyes rest.
Step 3: Eat pork liver
Vitamin A deficiency can lead to dry eye and night blindness, while animal livers are rich in vitamin A.
But! (There is always one [but] waiting for you)
First, too much vitamin A supplement is harmful.
Daily Vitamin A Intake Recommended in Dietary Nutrition Guidelines for Chinese Residents:
In other words, it is almost like [a mouthful] of pork liver.
If you just want a bite.
I won’t stop it.
Second, animal liver is at risk of accumulation of heavy metals. Although it is rich in vitamin A, it is not the only source of vitamin A.
High-quality sources of vitamin A:
- Cod liver oil, fish eggs, whole milk, cream, poultry eggs, etc.; Dark fruits and vegetables, such as spinach, lettuce leaves, carrots, pea seedlings, chili, oranges, persimmons, mangoes, etc.
Step 4: Eat Chinese Wolfberry
Others say that eating medlar improves eyesight because medlar contains lutein, which is beneficial to eyesight.
But! (I said there was always one [but] waiting for you)
First, lutein has limited effect.
Lutein plays a certain role in preventing and treating visual loss, blindness, cataract and other eye diseases caused by age-related macular degeneration.
Second, medlar is usually used as a seasoning, and the amount of lutein available through it is very limited.
If you eat some dark vegetables and fruits every day, you can get enough lutein. Why love little medlar unrequited?
In a word, if you like to eat some of these legendary food that can improve your eyesight, it is OK to eat it. However, if you just want to improve your eyesight and relieve asthenopia by eating more certain food, it will have little effect and will not fundamentally solve the problem.
These methods work!
Of all the dazzling methods, I only like two words: use your eyes moderately and pay attention to rest.
Step 1 Blink more
Under normal circumstances, the number of blinks per minute is about 15-20. If you stare at the computer for a long time, the number of blinks will be significantly reduced. Remember to remind yourself to blink more.
Step 2 Take more rest
- Look at the distance every once in a while (the duration is at your own disposal, preferably not more than one hour). Note that the word “distance” is emphasized here. Ensure quality sleep at night.
3. Adjust the computer position and screen display

Step 4 Hot Compress Eyes
Wet the towel with warm water or hot water and apply hot compress to your eyes. Be careful not to burn yourself because the temperature is too high.
Step 5 Use a humidifier
If the air is dry in autumn and winter, an air humidifier can be added.
Step 6: Fit a pair of glasses
If you feel that you can’t see clearly, you must wear glasses and don’t force your eyes.
7. Take off your contact lenses and let your eyes breathe.
Don’t sleep with contact lenses, and occasionally wear frame glasses.
8. Increase outdoor activities
9. Use eye drops and artificial tears according to doctor’s advice.
Don’t do some things
- Do not rub your eyes with your hands or paper towel. Avoid washing your face with cold water, which will aggravate the feeling of dry eyes. Don’t lie down or play with your cell phone or tablet computer after turning off the lights.
If all kinds of methods have been used, but still cannot relieve dry eyes and pain, go to the hospital as soon as possible!
