How often does the baby take a bath in winter? Do these 3 points well without catching cold.

In such a cold day, in the eyes of mothers, the most troublesome thing must be to bathe Eva.

Give the baby a bath, afraid of catching a cold, stay up and don’t wash, the baby can rub mud on her body… In addition, some babies have their own attribute of “frying hair as soon as they take a bath”, which worries their parents even more.

We invited pediatrician Wang Huiqing to tell us the trick of how to bathe her in winter without catching a cold.

It is best to take a bath three times a week in winter.

If you clean your baby’s buttocks every time you change diapers, it is enough to take three baths for your baby within a week, and there is no need to wash them every day.

Frequent bathing will destroy sebum on the baby’s skin and cause the baby’s skin to become dry. If you wash too few times, your baby will feel uncomfortable if you secrete too much.

Three should be ready [in advance] so that the baby will not catch cold.

1. Advance bathroom [heating]

There will be a temperature difference between hot and cold when the baby goes into the bath to take off his clothes. It is suggested to warm the bathroom first. Mothers can let their father take a bath in advance to warm up the bathroom and then wash the baby.

You can also prepare heaters such as [small sun], but you must do a good job of preventing leakage and put them out of reach of children’s hands.

It should be noted that if the indoor temperature is too high, the baby will lose water, which is generally controlled at about 25 ~ 28 ℃ (it is OK if it is not cold in autumn clothes).

2. Adjust the water temperature in advance

Whether it is appropriate to feel the water temperature with the inside of the arm. Generally speaking, it is most appropriate for the water temperature to be equivalent to or slightly warmer than the inside temperature of the arm.

Step 3 Prepare laundry in advance

Winter is less warm and sunny. For example, in some cold cities in the south, half of the clothes are dried in the shade, and the corners may be wet. Mothers can blow dry with a hair dryer or cover the heat with a warm water bag before taking the clothes into the bathroom to avoid confusion in and out.

In the bath, these three points should be remembered.

STEP 1 Prepare bath comforters

For babies who don’t like bathing, preparing bathing comforts, such as bathing toys or relaxing music with mobile phones, can relieve the baby’s nervousness.

Step 2 Bath Sequence

Wash your hair first and then take a bath. If there is a bath bucket, you can let your baby soak in the bucket and wash your hair first (don’t forget the artifact of the shampoo cap). If there is no bath bucket, you can wrap your baby with a big bath towel before washing your hair to avoid catching cold.

If the water temperature is found to be low in the middle of washing, heat the water and be careful not to burn the baby.

Don’t take too long to take a bath, 10 minutes is the best.

3. Don’t let your baby look straight at the bath bully.

Although the national standard bath bully will not pose a threat to eyesight, strong light will stimulate the baby’s eyes and increase anxiety.

After taking a bath, the closing 3 o’clock is also important.

Step 1 Dry carefully

After washing, wipe your body, wrap your baby with a big bath towel, wipe your head and then wipe your body.

Hidden parts such as abdomen, thigh sulcus and anus must be dried to keep the gaps dry to avoid dermatitis.

After drying the baby’s body, quickly put on autumn clothes and trousers, and then blow dry the baby’s hair.

Step 2 Apply emollient lotion

If the outdoor temperature is very low, it is recommended to apply body milk to the baby in the bathroom. Just like wearing clothes, apply moisturizer quickly.

Of course, if the room is very warm, the operations such as applying moisturizer, touching and massaging can also be carried out on the warm bedroom bed.

Step 3 Get out of the bathroom

The mother had better wrap up the baby’s coat and then carry the baby into the room.

If the baby is ready to go to bed at this moment, those who use sleeping bags can wear them well in advance in the bathroom. For those who sleep in the quilt, it is also recommended to cover the baby’s quilt hot before letting the baby fall asleep.
