Is BCG dangerous? It’s not
Generally speaking, vaccination itself is not dangerous. Serious complications are very rare. It is really dangerous not to vaccinate or prevent.
Is there any way to reduce risks? Of course there is
Before vaccination:
-
Vaccination at regular vaccination sites; Before vaccination, the health information of the child should be provided to the vaccinated medical staff so as to judge whether the vaccination can be carried out.
After vaccination:
- Stay in hospital for observation for 30 minutes (due to individual reasons, very few people may have allergic reactions, most of which occur within 30 minutes after inoculation). Press and hold the needle eye with cotton swabs for a few minutes before taking it away without bleeding. Do not rub the inoculation site to allow the baby to rest properly, drink more water (breast-feeding) to prevent other diseases.
It is normal for these situations to occur.
After vaccination, if the baby has slight fever, loss of appetite, dysphoria and crying, it is normal, and half of them will disappear automatically within a few days. Don’t worry.
Are there any babies who are not suitable for vaccination? There is
Some babies are only temporarily unsuitable, for example, they are suffering from high fever and need to be vaccinated after their physical condition is normal.
Some are really inappropriate, such as immune insufficiency, neurological diseases, allergic constitution, etc., which need to be identified by professional doctors.
