Applicable months

Babies aged 10 months and above.

Before adding mixed ingredients, please make sure that each ingredient has been added separately to the baby and is not allergic.

Preparation of ingredients

Sushi rice (cooked) 50 g, salmon belly (raw) 30 g, carrot (raw) 20 g, broccoli (raw) 20 g

1. Sushi rice (rice and glutinous rice are mixed and cooked to make sushi rice. It is recommended that rice and glutinous rice be mixed at a ratio of 6: 4, and rice and water be cooked at a ratio of 1: 1.1. The sushi rice here is different from the sushi rice eaten outside at ordinary times, but is cooked by mixing rice and glutinous rice without vinegar, salt and sugar, which is more suitable for baby’s light taste)

2. Salmon (it is naturally best to buy fresh salmon bellies. If only salmon pieces with skins are sold around your community, then buy them back and change them to knives)

3. Broccoli and carrots (broccoli should be soaked for 30 minutes in advance and cut into small pieces; Cut carrots into small cubes)

Manufacturing method

1. Slice salmon belly (raw) with moderate thickness.

2. Boil diced carrots and small broccoli in a pan for 5 minutes after boiling, then drain and take out, and mix with sushi rice.

3. Knead sushi rice into oval small rice balls, put them on the dinner plate, and then put the cut salmon belly slices on the small rice balls.

4. After the water boils, put the dinner plate into the steamer and heat for 3 minutes. Turn off the fire and take out when the salmon belly slices turn white.

Recipe tips

For babies under 1 year old, they do not need to add any seasoning when eating, and only rely on the natural flavor of the ingredients themselves to be [delicious]. The only thing that needs to be paid attention to is to knead the rice ball as much as possible to the size that the baby can swallow in one bite.

For babies over 1 year old who have been exposed to some seasonings, lemon juice, vinegar, white granulated sugar and salt can be properly added to the rice. However, even without these condiments, the rice ball is still very delicious.
