Children lack calcium or not, 3 tricks to teach you to judge

These days, children have everything [calcium deficiency], sweating too much, walking unsteadily, grinding teeth, pillow baldness… if you want to pick up [rumors of calcium deficiency], you can’t finish it all day and night.

The way to judge whether a child is calcium deficient is very simple. It is enough to remember the following 3 sentences:

1. No calcium deficiency before half a year old,

Healthy full-term babies 6 months ago generally do not lack calcium.

The calcium content in breast milk and formula milk can already meet the needs of the baby’s physical development, and there is no need to supplement additional calcium.

2. After half a year old, look at the milk quantity

After half a year old, as long as the baby’s daily milk consumption reaches the following standards, there is no need to supplement extra calcium.

    6 ~ 12 months, 600 ~ 800 mL; 1 ~ 3 years old, 360 ~ 480mL; 4 ~ 6 years old, 300 ~ 400mL.

3. Vitamin D, insist on supplementing

If the baby has rickets, costal eversion and other problems, it is not caused by calcium deficiency, but vitamin D deficiency.

Therefore, while ensuring the baby’s milk consumption, don’t forget to supplement vitamin D for the baby.
